History of Komatsu

PT Komatsu Patria Attachment (KPA) was established in 2009 by Komatsu Indonesia (KI) together with Maruei Seisakusho. United Tractors Pandu Engineering (UTE) joined KPA in January 2011. The Company’s core business is producing buckets and blades for heavy equipment, thus providing the best value for customers seeking to replace their used buckets and blades. KPA is the first subsidiary within Komatsu Group worldwide to enter the heavy equipment buckets and blade production business, paving the way for the group to expand its business further.

Supported by the group’s vast experience and innovative technology in mining equipment industry, KPA produces high quality and reliable products. Moreover, Komatsu’s global distribution network enables the Company to export its products to countries such as Russia, South Asia and India. As such, KPA quickly becomes a prominent player with sales value of US$6 million in 2010.

Going forward, the Company will continue to support mining customers by listening to and fulfilling their needs. We will synergize all of our strengths and resources to produce innovative and value-added products in order to provide the best heavy equipment solutions for our customers in Indonesia and throughout the world.
